On 13 February 2021, the Office for Zero-Emission Vehicles (OZEV) announced that their electric vehicle charging schemes, which provide grants to install electric vehicle charge points, will be reformed to provide more support to people living in flats and those in rented accommodation (including leasehold properties) to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) uptake in those sectors (see Here).
The Government want your views to help us design the changes to the scheme. They are therefore undertaking an informal consultation to understand the potential demand from the Private residential sector for such grants, your opinion on their proposed grant levels, and how they can make the schemes easy to use.
Please can you help the Government by completing this very short survey: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/0MGE4Z/ . The survey contains more details of the proposed grant in the introduction. The deadline for responses is midnight on 4th April 2021.
We the British Landlord Association would be most grateful for your participation in this survey, which will help to inform Government policy in this area.
