I am a member of the British landlord association. I was a member of the national landlords association for years. I thought they were useless. I joined the RLA, they were slightly better. Then when it came to renewal a friend told me about the BLA. I thought it's free so I have nothing to lose.

I have to say the BLA is much better than the National landlords association or the RLA. I found the BLA helpline to be very good, their lawyers know what they are doing.

Hope my experience helps you.

Peter, I don't know what the NLA is like, I was a member of the RLA, I then joined the BLA, I thought there would be a catch, the membership cant be free. I have been a member for 2 years now. The membership is actually free. Like Wayne I used the helpline once, it is a fantastic service. I would recommend the BLA, why pay for membership when you don't need to.

The NLA have a very good campaign capability. There landlord helpline is useless. I think the networking is pretty good too.

My experience i dont think you can beat the BLA membership is free and i got £400 aid which the BLA to help with my tenant.

The NLA or RLA take money you never get any money from them.

Hi Dereck, you are a BLA Member i presume. If you are you would have got an email from the BLA regarding CFA coronavirus financial Aid. Its £400 which all existing BLA members get to help deal with defaulting tenants. Ring the helpline if you are a member and ask them about it.
