My tenant has just left and taken my washing machine. I have prooved its mine and am getting it back. My tenant states that if she keeps it I can\'t buy a new one for the original cost as its now 4 years old ! This seems very unfair on me as a landlord. Can anyone clarify this ? More out of interest for future issues. Many thanks

What you pay or dont pay for a replacement washing machine is irrelevant to the tenant. The tenant needs to return the machine she has stolen. Period.
