Proof of ownership

HM Land Registry has been severely delayed by current Covid-19 outbreak. I am trying to prove my property ownership to the Council in order to obtain licence. However they will not accept proof that isn't from Land Registry not even TR1 form singed and witnessed by my and sellers solicitors. Property owned since 20/03/20. Any advice please.

Hi Michal, if the property is now registered at HMLR in your name you can obtain an online office copy for your title.

For whatever reason, if this is not possible HMLR offices are open to the best of my knowledge (not for walk-in clients) for telephone enquiries request them to send you an office copy, they maybe able expedite this.
