Marc Attwater Staff answered 3 years ago Yes they can, the gap between the door and the frame it is excesssive and in addition if you cannot postively substantiate that the doors are half hour fire doors they can request that you change the doors or go through other options which are expensive and time consuming too. Since the Grenfal tower many councils are concerned, hence they are ensuring they carryout their legal obligations.
